The name on my Caller ID just said John, but I knew area code 845 was no one I knew. I did not answer but called back and got a message saying if you wish not to receive their calls to hit the "1" and they would remove my name from their files.
Answered a call from this number. First tip-off was the 3-5 second delay before he responded so I knew they were demon-dialing just waiting for numbers where live people answer the phone. When he started talking, his accent (India?) was so thick I couldn't understand him. I told him so and hung up. Now that I see they're scamming MS, I kind of wish I'd stayed on the line -- I could have had some fun with it before hanging up.
Caller from Carmel, NY with phone number keeps calling and hanging up when
