About two months ago, `I order some Derm Exclusive because it is made by Plastic surgeon seen on TV,
I do not know if it coincidental , but my phone is ringing off the wall with all kinds of offers from all over the
nation, it is getting so bad I am going to have to change my phone number. I think the Doctors product
went to Beach company to be shipped out, and once they get your information they sent it out
to everyone, I am going call the TV that doctor appears on and report it to them.
I told "John" that my computer is in the shop & I don't have access to it. He wanted know if I'd be home in an hour so he could call back. Told him I didn't know. He should call back at his convenience.
I just received a phone call from this number – my Caller ID said JOHN. The caller had a very thick India Indian accent and asked for Stephanie (I have had this number for almost 20 years and no Stephanie has ever lived here). I asked him several times for the company he works for and he finally said “Yahoo / Microsoft.com Services”. I also asked him twice for his name and a valid call-back number but he continued to ask to speak with Stephanie. I told him twice to remove my number from his call lists but he just said that he would call back later and then abruptly hung up. What a jerk!!!
I received the very SAME call/conversation this morning on my way home from work. I told him that Microsoft does NOT call individuals on their phones.....he kept pushing (in a VERY thick Indian accent) that I had downloaded spyware. I asked when this happened, and he said last night. I work 3rd shift and wasn't even home! When I told him I have Norton anti-virus, he told me that this spyware cannot be detected by Norton.....I basically said BS and hung up on him....then I called the number back and got the following message. "Thank you for calling back, if you do not wish to participate in our promotion and want to be placed on our no call list, please press 1. So I did......damn scammers!
