@Mary Johnson. What did they give you? I contacted Lisa Madigan's office this morning about these people and their tactics to bring people in. They claim not be be a timeshare company and yet, the people that have been there saw a timeshare presentation. I plan on pursuing this to the fullest extent of what my legal rights are. I'm on the national DO NOT CALL list and told the so the first time they called. Today I received my 6th call from them. I have asked them every time to take my number out of their computer and the guy told me he couldn't do it. I told him if he calls again, I'm pursuing legal action but have decided not to give them a 7th chance. They lie to you on the phone and if you don't listen to what they have to say, they have the guts to yell at you and tell you that you are the one that's wrong for not going along with their scam tactics. I don't know how stupid they think the American people are, but they're about to find out. I told the man I wanted to talk to either his supervisor or someone from the US and he told me he couldn't let me do that. They have crossed a line I'm not willing to tolerate. They're worse than bill collectors. I'm almost positive they're calling from India and when I asked the man that, he told me I was making verbal attacks against his country so that right there told me I was right. I even asked one of the callers if I could come down to Tri-State Pkwy in Gurnee and talk to her personally and she went as far as to say she was there. When I went there I found a Man Power office. I'm not one to put up with this kind of garbage and neither should anyone else be. The business practices are very deceptive and if we were all smart we would start a class action lawsuit against this company.
I did some investigating based off address given. A B vacations, selling time shares. I'm on do not call list but yet they have called 5 times this week.
I'm on a do not call list and they have a card from a drawing I filled out two years ago. They call themselves Gurnee Inc from Canada. But, their address is for Temporary Manpower Services at 1425 Tri State Pkwy, Unit 130, Gurnee, IL. This is the address they gave me before I told them where to go. They told me all my information but screwed up when they told me to bring my husband (whoever that is) and my driver's license for ID. I now know where this form came from. I marked married by accident on my form in the Gurnee Mall's Christmas Car Give-Away. I put no solicitaions on the form as I always do. Shame on Gurnee Mills Shopping Center for Selling their customer's information.
A family member of mine recived a call from these clown's and they made threating remarks. Well thanks to the internet and Finding these post and other information, I will be going to have a few words with these people!
Just received a call from this number again and decided to answer. They told me they were at 1425 Tri-state Parkway Unit 130 in Gurnee and that I won 1 of four prizes - Ford Explorer, $25,000 cash, 27 Flatscreen tv or a 5 day vacation to Fla. Said they were not selling me anything and that I did not have to put up any money. But I did question why the visit was going to take 1.5 hours and they stated that it was so they could show me all of the different gifts that they have available, plus refreshments. Hmmm.. Told me to bring my husband and id. I filled out a Gurnee mills drawing back in December and now I get these calls... Will be calling Gurnee Police tomorrow to verify the company, as the telephone number is unpublished and so is the telephone number they told me to call if I had any questions 773-362-7931
