@Mary Johnson. What did they give you? I contacted Lisa Madigan's office this morning about these people and their tactics to bring people in. They claim not be be a timeshare company and yet, the people that have been there saw a timeshare presentation. I plan on pursuing this to the fullest extent of what my legal rights are. I'm on the national DO NOT CALL list and told the so the first time they called. Today I received my 6th call from them. I have asked them every time to take my number out of their computer and the guy told me he couldn't do it. I told him if he calls again, I'm pursuing legal action but have decided not to give them a 7th chance. They lie to you on the phone and if you don't listen to what they have to say, they have the guts to yell at you and tell you that you are the one that's wrong for not going along with their scam tactics. I don't know how stupid they think the American people are, but they're about to find out. I told the man I wanted to talk to either his supervisor or someone from the US and he told me he couldn't let me do that. They have crossed a line I'm not willing to tolerate. They're worse than bill collectors. I'm almost positive they're calling from India and when I asked the man that, he told me I was making verbal attacks against his country so that right there told me I was right. I even asked one of the callers if I could come down to Tri-State Pkwy in Gurnee and talk to her personally and she went as far as to say she was there. When I went there I found a Man Power office. I'm not one to put up with this kind of garbage and neither should anyone else be. The business practices are very deceptive and if we were all smart we would start a class action lawsuit against this company.
I attended the presentation. Thank goodness I didn't buy anything. They came all the down from 6,800 to 1,400. I did received the vacation selection form and that is how I found all of your information. By the way, you could pay for any of the trips they were offering - they all required you to pay at a minimum, several hundred dollars. What a waste of my time!!!
Thanks for these posts guys. I got a call from this place recently. I almost went over there myself. Thankfully, I read this and now I know what's really up. I knew it was too good to be true.
Hi there! it is true about the fab gifts that abvacation is giving away actually it is a free taste of their services, the promotion was being sponsored by the major credit card companies. So definitely even a single penny will not be taken out from your pocket. And if this company is a scam do you think bbb would let them to operate? And if that's the case their major sponsors will not help them make the promotion possible too. I did receive round trip airfare tickets that is good for two adults however there's a $100 reservation and it is refundable after you have used the tickets. I already use it and they have given my money back. Now I am happy with the services and I will recommend some of my friends to attend the celebration to try it. All you need to do buddy is to call this number (224-636-8534) told them you want to attend the celebration because you are planning to take a vacation next year that's why you are looking for a travel club to consider as a potential source for your future travel needs.
