Called from "Oldies Radio" wanting me to identify myself. I told him he had the wrong number. He tried again, this time telling me what my name was. I muted the call and he hung up.
Caller said his name was Mike Armand from local radio station 103.5. Wanted to use our company name in a message about an upcoming blood drive. He proceeded to give an example of what the message would sound like using my name and an office location that is no longer open.
Called and asked for the owner by name & stated they'd spoken before. Said she was calling about breast cancer awareness. Well hell, I think we are all pretty aware. I put her on the VM but no message left.
Says he is calling about Radio Ads. Says we bought one in the past. Have asked repeatedly that he please stop calling.
Same Guy! Same voice!
My boss WILL NOT take cold calls. (telemarketers) I have told this guy that fact.
1) He calls and asks for my boss by first name. Acts like my boss is waiting for his call.
Acts as if they are old friends.
2) Will not leave a number at all. Will not leave call back information at all. Basically says he will call back. When told he won't reach him. He just says he will call back. When asked not to call back he hangs up.
3) He will call you back over and over and over. He does not care what you say he hangs up when he doesn't get what he wants that day..
Call my business this morning, caller is a female asking for owner, I say may I help you? She asks again, then I say same may I help you by I do not want to say YES, they will get the voice YES and hook you in to scam you with your voice. She states it is radio station and etc...I say NO and hang up.
I stopped answering when I see INT or the phone number. I also asked them to stop calling, but they don't give up. If I don't answer they call right back using an 877 number. It's for radio ads, I'll never hear them because I don't know the radio station.
