They are "riding the wave" as many communities are having or had Koman races and events.
Just like the spike of police/fire scam calls around 9/11. These scammers really deserve a very sound thrashing. But we'll get back at them by shutting them down by not answering and blocking their calls.
A couple of friends have had recent bouts with breast cancer and lived to tell about it. I'm all for supporting worthy causes, but I don't think these callers are qualified to get my money.
Find a local charity to give to if you have too much money. By giving local you can see your donation in action. I am, a cancer survivor so I understand.
