They are "riding the wave" as many communities are having or had Koman races and events.
Just like the spike of police/fire scam calls around 9/11. These scammers really deserve a very sound thrashing. But we'll get back at them by shutting them down by not answering and blocking their calls.
Called under phone ID "CCI". Same old breast cancer scam, just a different heading and number. Most of the money collected goes to the family running this "charity"; very little goes to women with breast cancer. I don't answer calls from numbers/ entities that I don't recognize.
