This is tied to an LLC that is active across the country. It may be diabetic supplies one time, or Alliance Healthcare, then I get business calls for a $250,000 business loan. Actually stayed on the line the last time around. Got Cecil, swore he was in California, but my bet is New Delhi. Recorded the call.
I took a victim services course for my advocacy work. This system allows someone to call from anywhere, but appear on caller ID as a legitimate caller. Thus, several companies (scam artists) can each rotate around to appear to be coming from this number. Do Not Call enlistment does not help at all. If you opt for #2 to be put on THEIR do not call list, it will simply rotate over to another number next time they call. Many times they will disconnect when you answer. I'd love to find a way to bring these vermin businesses down.
They asked me my name and address to send me some free stuff if I qualified after some questions about
health. one of them was if I have medicaid, I say no. and something about diabetes and I say no.
so and the end, they said thank you but you don't qualified and she hand up.
I KEEP GETTING THESE RATHER BOTHERSOME PHONE CALLS ALL HRS OF THE DAY-ANY DAY OF THE WEEK-BUT MORE SO ON SUNDAYS!!! AND ITS NOT JUST FROM THE SAME NUMBER.I BELIEVE THEY'VE CALLED ME FROM 3 - 4 DIFF ONES. I'VE BEEN VERY VERY ILL THEREFORE I FORWARD MY HOME PHONE TO MY MOMS SO I DONT MISS ANY IMP. PHONE CALLS. & WHEN I WENT HOME A FEW DAYS HERE & THERE IN BETWEEN i SWITCHED MY PHONE BACK HOME AND THESE VISCIOUS BLOOD THIRSTY HOUND DOGS SOMEHOW GOT MY MOMS PHONE # AND ARE NOW CALLING & HARRASSING HER FOR SOMETHING THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HER!!
As of yesterday, March 14, 2011, I am receiving calls from 856 295 5543, 646 558 5560 and 516 453 5562. Do not have any business w/ these people (I understand it is a company called Alliance) and do not want my minutes eaten up by these constant calls. How can these calls be stopped or blocked?
