i have been harassed by telemarketers from day one of comcast telephone service with one person actually telling me they bought my info from comcast and laughed. they even knew my home address. so i have done nothing but harass comcast as well ALL DAY, EVEY DAY!!
Everything was fine until I changed my service level with Comcast recently. The next day every telemarketer on the planet was calling. I put the number on the do not call registry but that takes time to filter through. I blocked some of the repeat offenders with *60 but that only allows you to block 12 numbers for some reason. I'm testing out magicJack now and think I'll be dumping Comcast's Digital Voice shortly.
I get the same call and it reads SSS. I know its cause I would not give Comcast extra money to put my number on the do not call list. Just another reason to turn off the ringer.
Received call earlier today. Did not answer because caller ID said SSS. I too have Comcast Digital Voice. Looks like I will be receiving additional calls in the future. What happened to the National DO NOT CALL Registry? Something should be done about this kinda crap!
