They hung up the first time I answered then called back wanted to speak with whoever was in charge of purchasing products for our manufacturing machines I asked him what products, he said he was not selling anything just wanted to ask some questions I told him we don't participate in over the phone research and he said because it's against company policy and I said yes it is. Then I kicked myself as I never answer anyone's questions with a "yes" because they may be recording me and used that against me to their advantage. I think they're wising up so they are rephrasing their questions to elicit a yes response.
Interesting, I went to their website www.maximumreasearch.com and used the option to add my number to their Do Not Call list - I used a Fax number that they have not been calling...I am now receiving calls on this number every day!!!
Update - I was finally able to reach a human yesterday after 12 attempts; spoke to "Tiffany" who said my number will be added to their do not call list. Well what happens today - starting at 9:07 AM I get 43 consecutive calls from these [***] Clowns.
I will be sending a follow up to the NJ Better Business Bureau and hope they are able to do something.
FYI - I also went to their Facebook page and left some comments, but they immediately remove anything that is negative.
So I guess the bottom line is if you are "doing research" is permissible to call anyone anytime as many times as you like - even if they ask you to stop and it is all within the law.
they called my daughters cell phone, she hung up. then they called our home phone, and asked to speak to the guardians of briana (my daughter). i recognized the caller ID from my daughters phone, & said wrong number... they called my daughter back AGAIN right after that... it's weird!!
