it's been a month of repeated phone calls... very annoying...person keeps calling from this number 856 627 1792..picked up first 2 times adn no one on the other end...still calling for the past month ranging from one to two times a day at different times of the day..now I screen it and ignore the call...works for me...
Did an online search and found Telepoint. I called Telepoint at 856-627-7100. Had to call twice to get a person on the line. Told them I had received numerous phonecalls from 856-627-1792. Said they would remove my phone number from their list. Hopefully it works.
It is a telemarketer in near by South Jersey. They were calling my business on behalf of Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia concerning a direct mailing piece. They wanted to save my company money on our business health benefits. They made four previous calls in the past few weeks. On the 5th attempt they left a message. I suppose they now will give up on us as unreachable.
To their credit, this telemarketing company sounds like a professional organization calling for a legitimate company they comes up on caller ID. It did not sound like a scuzzy telemarketer trying to run some scam with some unknown health benefits company or benefits broaker promising extreme low rates etc (as in the junk faxes we get). The person was clear and polite on the voice mail message. They probably amek telemarketing calls on behalf of many different companies.
At my company, we just do not answer telemarketing calls cause they call on a line that could block a customer's call that would be sent to voice mail. So we could miss a sale by the customer going to voice mail. I do not know why a business like Independence who would want to do business with us would want to disrupt our business with telemarketing attempts.
The only way we can get our company's health costs cut is for a huge administation change in Washington that do not favor lobbiest and special interest groups who line the pockets of our government officials!
Got a call today from this number and decided to answer to inform them I was on the "NO CALLS" list both in my state as well as the national. A woman answered asking for a specific man's name. Told her there was no one by that name here and she hung up.
