Same as above- received a text from this # in regard to a Craigslist ad I have up. Ad states specifically to call, not email or text. The message also contained misspellings. I imagine it's a scammer.
Does anyone know how they pull this Scam off.....they want my name, address and cell phone number so they can mail me a check....and then they say that they are willing to wait for the check to clear the bank before picking up the product.
This scammer responded to my Craigslist ad for an $800 item. In my ad I always state that
NO TEXTS/EMAILS will be responded to. Mailing you a bogus check is an absolute SCAM.
If you're too stupid to realize it you deserve to get ripped off!! Obviously there are a lot of
idiots out there for crooks to take advantage of. He doesn't want what you have for sale he
only wants to steal your money with a worthless check. Learn from others-DON'T BE ANOTHER
VICTIM. BEWARE!
