Yes he was. It amazes me how so long ago they could predict what was going to happen and tried so hard to write our constitution to help prevent us from eventually loosing everything they fought for and we still did. Sorry to sound so gloomy.

I put the blame squarely on the government: our tax dollars are applied to another government program i.e. "Do Not Call List" but alas, it doesn't work. Thomas Jefferson was correct.
Well seems you haven't done your homework, or at least you have very poor comprehension. The DNC was designed to only cover telemarketing sales calls, not charities, or political calls, or any thing else. But if you had some simple reading comprehension, you would have understood that since it is clearly posted on the site. Also, you seem to have failed reading comprehension again in that the DNC is supported by the payment of fees by legitimate telemarketing sales centers to obtain the list to abide by the law. So no tax dollars are involved. Now as to Thomas Jefferson, after all that I have to wonder if you even know who he was or what he said.
