Yes he was. It amazes me how so long ago they could predict what was going to happen and tried so hard to write our constitution to help prevent us from eventually loosing everything they fought for and we still did. Sorry to sound so gloomy.

I don't understand why so many of you wonder why the do-not-call list (DNC) doesn't work. We have laws, and people who break the DNC law can be sued for civil damages. But most people who make unsolicited calls are crooks. Bank robbers are crooks, but do you think the threat of a civil lawsuit for robbing banks will deter bank robbers. If you can understand that, you can understand why the DNC law doesn't deter telemarketers. You can defeat telemarketers with technology. Laws don't help.
But then there are the exceptions, the political and charity fundraisers who aren't covered by the DNC law. I put them in the same category as other telemarketers and use technology to defeat them as well.
