They called , but its seems as if they are a legit company doing a Home Security systems . I got my system installed for around 34$/month , very nice system and good price.
Getting 10 calls a day from this number. Usually hang ups. Only one did someone actually say something. He sounded like a robot so i hung up. Stupid people. Sick of it.
Guys as promised yesterday , we have implemented the system , where you can call back and if you would like to OPt out or request not to receive a call again.
We will be monitoring this closely as well. If you requested not receive a call again and still did , you can report here or call us back at our number and speak to us , and we will investigate.
Additionally some people over here have mentioned about , them getting calls and have pressed 9 , that is not us. We do not run any sort of press 1 dialers , so please see that you are reporting calls from us , and are not confusing them with calls from other companies.
Phone home ET ... after 5 days of calls from this number, all RECORDED voices, all with same pause, in the same place in the message, but NO option to 'be removed" ... offering free equipment & installation of home security system.
After the first call I tried calling the number back: It rang 5 times, then went silent, then clicked a few times, then disconnected. If nobody answers, exactly how do you request to be removed ?
Oh excuse me for being nit-picky, but since you scrub your calls against the DNC list, just mentioning my #'s been on the DNC list since it went into effect; there is no prior business with your company (whoever it is), or any remotely related subsidiary or affiliate (whoever they may be), so there shouldn't have been a call in the first place ... or any reason to 'opt out'
But I digress, after 5 days of not being able to get through from this number (somewhere in the Boston, MA area code region) ... now this 'legitimate business' has started calling from a new number - 815-687-8487 (in the Rockford/Kankakee, IL area code region)
If in fact some scammer is SPOOFING your number(s), maybe you should get busy and track them down, instead of arguing with us.
Both are identified as Peerless Network Landlines -- FCC, my state attorney general & PSC office have received reports; my phone carrier knows, and Peerless has been notified as well ... at least they have a company name, address and real phone #
