They called , but its seems as if they are a legit company doing a Home Security systems . I got my system installed for around 34$/month , very nice system and good price.
UPDATE to post on 8/27 ...
same # and "special promo" calls continued on 8/27 w/ 3 more @ 11:40am; 4:12 pm and 4:38pm
Then started again on 8/28 @11:01am
So I tried calling back (potentially dumb move-I get it) ... got 5 rings, no answer, no machine, couple of clicks,
then it disconnected.

Got a call , were offering a free system , for a good price . I first thought it looked like a scam , but then found of my neigbours had the same system , and was pretty good vs other companies. I had it installed , so far looks all good.
