Everyone else nailed it. Guy with Haji accent told me my WIndows computer had malicious software, but only stated my name after I told him he had the wrong number. He never did say who he was from. (RED FLAG). He wanted me sit at the computer and type something in, which is when I told i told him I knew it was a scam, and wished him luck calling someone more stupid. later my caller ID showed the number 859-354-8184 as Kentucky. Both numbers show up as Lexington, and both are the same scam. B-O-R-I-N-G! lol
SCAM!! Told me I had malicious software on my computer. I asked him why he was into my computer. I asked what IP address showed up. He told me My windows was infected. I told him I have an Apple iPad. I don't own any Windows products. He hung up on me. LOL! Busted. Caller I.D. Winchester KY.
SCAM called at 7:15 AM sounded like an idiot and told me there was a problem with my computer. Told her I was reporting her number for fraud to the Attorney General's office in N.Y.S. She started arguing with me and I hung up on her.......These calls are getting ridiculous.
9:10 pm these bozos call me telling me about my infected Windows computer. Last time this happened, I pretended to go over to my computer room to boot up my machine. Then, I pretended my battery died. Then I had to find the charging cable. Then I had to reboot my computer. All the while, I was asking clarification. "Press which key?? How do I do that?" I wasted about 15 minutes of their time before I revealed that I have a Mac. Haha! They didn't call me back for 6 months...so it had limited success.
