We just got a call from this number, at my work. It was one of the phone book places, saying that we already had a free listing and wanted to update or verify the information they had. I put them on hold to get my boss and they hung up. We get call like these every week from differnt companys that put out yellow page books. When you verify all of the information they ask if your authorized to make decisions for the buisness when I tell them no, even though nothing has changed, they end the call. I have told them yes I was before and then they try to sell you an add, or say that they are going to be sending you someting that's only going to cost you....blah blah blah. It's bogus.
I received a phone call from 860-00 (yes that is all the caller id showed) and it turned out to be Wells Fargo. How exactly are they hiding their phone number in this manner?
Keep getting calls from this number. Never anybody there, always just quiet no matter if I pick up on first ring or fourth, or let it go to voice mail. Who are they? What do they want?
