I got a call from (860) 000-0000 and it was the whole 'lower your interest rate' recording. I thought if I hit #1 I could talk to someone and ask them to remove me from their call list (wishful thinking). An Indian man picked up and when I asked them to remove me, he asked how old I was and then continued on with the most filthy talk. I'm no prude, but this kind of rattled me. He was also talking to a buddy in another language and laughing in between his filth talk. Loser.
The usual 'last chance to lower my cc rate. 2nd and final call'. Wishful thinking. They have called the landline for years, now they are calling our cell phones??
I have been receiving a call from this number on my work emergency line. It has a CT area code with all zeros. I asked the caller to remove my number several times, interrupting his telemarketing speech. He refused to do so and instead said all he would do was hang up on me which he promptly did.
