YES... I.e.: if you are on the national DNC registry, and an automated telemarketer keeps calling you, the best thing to do is have the state att'y general mail them a letter, and eventually this will actually scare them enough to stop calling.
Just got the call. I don't answer calls from numbers and area codes I don't recognize. Too many times its been these [***]. I must be on someone's list, because I've also been getting calls from 319 and 484 area codes as well. There ought to be a law!
I have been getting this automatic phone call on my cell about the warranty expiring, previously I automatically picked up my calls since I use my cell rarely and it is for my family members. This time I remembered to look and did not recognize the number so I stopped the call. I wondered where the area code was and put in the number and found this website, so I am not the only one getting these calls.

I'm receiving prerecorded calls on my cell, work and home numbers. Caller ID indicated an unknown caller at 860-216-2292. No company identification and immediately launched into its car warranty spiel. I called back and either get a busy signal or put on hold.
