Received call from RGG consulting saying they are calling about two fraud cases. Said they are contacting HR department and would receive packet at home or work. Sounds like a scam. Has anyone else had these calls? Called from 704-709-2133 and wanted us to call back to 860-261-2819. Anyone else received these calls?
Received a call saying that they were rGG consulting in regards to a payday loan that was taken out into thousand and 12 while I lived out a former address and work for a previous company they have the address right the company I work for was a few years later plus they had several references I supposedly a put down which didn't really occur to me until later that they were names are from my Facebook page. Very potentially A scam, well I guess we'll see if I get this packet they say I'm supposed to be getting served with for fraud.

Got the same call! It is a scam! They first called from a North Carolina number and then told me to call 8602612819. I called and a man picked up the phone and transferred me to their Law Offices. I spoke to a lady and she had old information dating back a decade ago about me and claimed that I owed a payday loan money. I know this is false because I did not take out any loan that year. She then transferred me a man who was a supervisor who sounded EXACTLY like the first guy who answered the phone! He tried to coerce me into giving my extra information (where I was located, new contacts, bank account info), which I gave him none. I asked him questions about where is business is located, who is asking for the money, why didn't their consultant offices pop up online and he got hostile and refused to answer so I hung up! It's a scam!!!
I also received a call from RRG Consultants. Like you said, they are a pay day loan collector. They have very old information and said that a company called Compass Capitol was taking me to court for non-payment of a pay day loan. Gentleman spoke very fast and asked me to hold my questions until the end. Then I started asking questions, he got upset, I told him let's go to court. Finally I told him that I would call Compass Capitol and bid him goodbye. I called Compass Capitol, located in San Francisco, CA and told the lady that answered about the call. She said it was a scam and that RRG Consultants was using their name illegally again. She said disregard the call as a scam. DO NOT VERIFY ANY INFORMATION THAT THEY HAVE ABOUT YOU, INCLUDING YOUR OLD ADDRESS, PHONE AND SSAN.
