Received call from RGG consulting saying they are calling about two fraud cases. Said they are contacting HR department and would receive packet at home or work. Sounds like a scam. Has anyone else had these calls? Called from 704-709-2133 and wanted us to call back to 860-261-2819. Anyone else received these calls?
They just called me. A payday loan from Paragon Financial in 2012. Same issue. The man became very upset when I said I wanted to have my attorney call back to validate this issue and discuss the identity theft issue that has been committed.
I have received many calls from this man in the last week, it started out coming in as 1004 and then 1005 and now odd numbers but the same man's voice. He stated his name was Sid Harris and talked very fast something about a group of Attorney's and such. He gave the call back number as 860-261-2819. I have not spoken to him and do not plan to! Very strong accent sounds middle eastern. He did say he was from RRG consulting.
Had this same issue and I just reported it to the FTC and all of you should too. A lady by the name of Carmen Jones first called me then I was transferred to some guy. I knew this was some sort of fraud because they sounded unorganized.Told him I'm getting lawyers involved and then hung up on him. I also informed my bank and I was also thinking about filing a police report on this.
Called me early in the morning. I was still asleep and not completely coherent. Guy said that he was looking for my girlfriend and that it was recommended she be served by someone/company, again I was not fully up yet so don't really remember. I asked "she's going to be served?" and he got upset and asked if understood what he was saying. I took the number to research it when I was fully up and alert and hung up. Very weird call.
Recieved a telephone call from Allyson smith at 863-657-0033 stating that she was calling for my mother regarding 2 pending allegations. When I asked her what the allegations were in regards to she said she could not disucss that with me becuase they were pertaining to my mother and gave me a call back number of 860-261-2819. When I asked her why her phone number she was calling from was an 863 area code she explained that was her work number. When I asked her how she got my number she explained that my mom gave my information as the emergecy contact information. When I asked what my name was she said that she needed my mother to call her back. When I told her I felt this was a scam I asked to speak to her supervisor she told me to call the number back or she could transfer me to the supervisor. When I asked for thr supervisor's name she wouldn't give it to me. After I hung up a few minutes later the superviosr, "Joseph Johnson" called me from the 863 phone number I got the 1st call from. I hung up and called the 863 number back and was directly sent to Joseph Johnson. This is a scam! don't give any of your information to them.
