I got a message that said 'If you would like to receive a message of hope with no strings attached, just press 1 now'. There was no option to be removed from the calling list and the call ended after a few seconds. The caller ID said the number was from Farmington, CT.
Marsha, just wait for a couple weeks or more and you will get a call from another number with the same or similar offer.
What I have been doing is giving them false names and false credit card information. with many of this incorrect information and they trying to run the false collected information, it will cause waste their time. so far right after I provide the false information, they disconnect the call, I did that for 6 calls, then they gave up and I didnt get more calls. after few months, today I received this call. but I didnt answer I am sure I will get another call this week, and I will proceed the same way I have been doing. This is the best way for me to stop this people, is not worth getting upset, and registering to the "do not call list" does not work. it might be additional time and effort by doing this, but I find it worth for me.
