Since this automated caller claims to be the CT Alert Notification System, it's the Hamden Police in the New Haven County area of Connecticut who's been requesting this 24/7 calling center to do this. If anyone has concerns over this kind of automated computer do contact the Hamden Police. Their nonemergency number is 1-203-230-4000 and they'll explain that they requested this company to contact a multiple number of Connecticut residents!
call at 1158 pm 5 january no message called back got recording says call town what a joke someone in the state of ct or town has nothing to do but wake up people and leave no message. needs to be investigated and find out what tax dollars are being spent for for these emergency system people to play with the telephone system at midnight
Received a recorded call today ( current major snow event) claiming to be the State of Connecticut saying that there was an emergency and asking to press # 1 for more information. After pressing # 1, there was no response . No caller ID to back check the number but it appears from other comments that this is part of a real State system that does not work very well.
Called several times back to back, it woke me up, I did not anwser and no message was left.
Pretty Pissed off to find out this is happening to several people from this # all at late hours!
