I noticed the first couple people were from Mass. I am from Fall River. Is this a Mass thing? Just curious as it does not make a difference. I have gotten six 800 type calls today on my business phone and I am trying to work. I do not answer but I have to turn machines off and stop to check it out. It is aggravating.
These calls referring to credit card accounts should be stopped. We don't even have a credit card. The government should have some regulation protecting us from unsolicited calls. Being handicapped and a senior citizen makes these resent answering my phone. I am very annoyed. Thank you. L.B.
they are breaking several laws already with this credit card interest rate reduction scam.
New laws are not going to stop them and if those of you who receive these calls do not bother to report them to the FTC or Donotcall website - no one will do anything about it.
Fact is - one company has already been held accountable for particiapating in this scam a few years ago - but they are still at it
Called again today 6/8/12 @1:22PM. No one home and no message left on ans. machine.
Either they don't use this number much or not many people are bothering to lodge complaints. This has been going on for over a month and it doesn't seem to get blocked by the Feds like some of the others do (that's why the numbers change so frequently).
Everyone needs to file a complaint with the donotcall list after EACH and EVERY one of these calls (BESIDES posting here) in order for things to get done about this.
