Just Had a scammer from this number call my business n reference to my shipping.....How is was going , how much we send and trying to pry. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!
In all the comments so far, some swear it's real, some swear it's a scam.
What if it could be BOTH.
I contacted my UPS rep, and he called me back and this is the number that came up. I didn't answer because I figured it was a scam call on my cell phone, but he left a message and it was 100% legit.
But what if somebody out there was using this number to commit fraud and pretend to be UPS, and spoofing the call id number to con people into thinking it was really UPS? Well, be careful.
If you don't have dealings with UPS, hangup. If you do have dealings with UPS, it's probably legit, but make sure. If what their saying sounds suspicious, don't give out any personal information. Besides, they should have all of the information they actually need in their computer systems if you have a UPS account. And they will call you from time to time and if you're a business doing some volume, they will offer you lower rates if you meet certain quotas.
