Scammers can insert ANY PHONE NUMBER, Legit or otherwise when they call. Please remember this. So if you are able to look up the number and it is attached to a Creditable business, it still may not be them. When I am not sure, I always tell them to send info via USPS (Snale mail). At that point they usually hang up or ask for an email address. I then repeat to them Regular US mail....I do not give out email address. If they ask for the mailing address I say. "If you have my information already, you should know that"....and hang up.
Since some say it's fake and some say it's real I called 1-800-PICK-UPS and had them verify this is a legitimate UPS phone number from their sales department. So half of you are lying on here or just not smart enough to understand what it is.
