Called my house at 12:45pm on Sunday, June 10, 2007. I said hello twice and they hung up, checked the internet for this phone # and it shows Gary and Scarlet Moore from Greenwood, SC. I just received my new phone# less than a week ago because of telemarketers and the phone company knows this. Why can't our phone companies STOP this harassment? Somebody needs to do something. I did do a call trace after I hung up the phone so my phone carrier will be notified. And I will keep sending a call trace to them each time I receive a call from these jokers and hopefully my phone company will do something about it.
A guy said I've chosen to receive a free cell phone from sprint. I said that I already have one. He hung up. I dialed back as soon as the line got disconnected and got a message that my international call cannot be completed. I did not have any idea the guy was calling from another country. I have my international calling disabled on my plan.
This guy has called here twice. The first time I told him not to call here again and hung up on him. the second time he called, my daughter answered and he gave her a hard time, she finally hung up on him.
The same person keeps calling using different names claiming that he is from Sprint. It has been checked out to be a fraud and when I asked him what information he needed from me he said that he needed my name, address, birthday and social security number. I asked for a number I could call him back on and he said that was private information that he was not allowed to give out. He and one other person have been calling my house for weeks anywhere from 2 to 10 times a day.
