Called my house at 12:45pm on Sunday, June 10, 2007. I said hello twice and they hung up, checked the internet for this phone # and it shows Gary and Scarlet Moore from Greenwood, SC. I just received my new phone# less than a week ago because of telemarketers and the phone company knows this. Why can't our phone companies STOP this harassment? Somebody needs to do something. I did do a call trace after I hung up the phone so my phone carrier will be notified. And I will keep sending a call trace to them each time I receive a call from these jokers and hopefully my phone company will do something about it.
Caller keeps calling never leaving a message from 864-223-1911 I call back and it's a disconnected number. There has got to be a way for us to get the actual number to call this fool back. I welcome any solutions.
I receive a call from this number a couple of times a month. Again, this evening, at around 9pm PST. The time before that, a woman with a very thick chinese broken accent told me that I had been selected to receive a free sprint phone. I told her why would I want a cell phone if I already had one and she called me on it. She hung up. That was the only real person I have had. Usually they are dead lines. I'm wondering what would happen if you dialed an international code along with it - like 01191 or something. What's the code for China? I bet that's where it's coming from...
I've received 4 calls on my cell phone, including one at 5am and one at 6am. I usually miss calls by the time I get to the phone and get it open, so they woke me up, but I didn't actually answer any of them. I was very worried that someone was trying to get in touch with me, but whenever I tried to call the number back, it was busy. You can complain at http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html because a telemarketer (even a legit one) is not supposed to call a cell phone, and they're not supposed to call a residential phone in the early morning or late at night.
well, I signed up for Nextel cellular service in July of 2006. about the time I walked out to the car from activating my new Nextel phone, I received a call from these people trying to sell me "450 minutes of anytime service for 39.99/month...it is now june 2007, and they have slowed down to 1-2 calls a day. (was 5 or more, from 4AM till midnight) that came only after reporting them to the "Do Not Call" hotline...funny thing, the day after I called the Hotline, this opium den telemarketer calls and laughs at me for reporting them, and they would keep calling just to show me that there is nothing I could really do about it. Sprint personelle couldn't have cared less. Sprint did get mad when I asked for the CEO's home number so that I could give it to these people.
I have had women call me, obviously [***] or India origin or thereabouts, but, they (women) didn't call back when I asked her what was it worth to her for me to buy this service kinda dialog, crude, but I am fed up with it......anyway. good luck getting rid of this persistent, rude, PEST TELEMARKETER - this is the caller ID I assigned them...
IF MY NEXTEL SERVICE DIDN'T WORK AS GREAT AS IT DOES, I WOULD GET VERIZON, I GUESS. I always have service, anywhere I have been, 'cept in a tunnel or cave.
