Called my house at 12:45pm on Sunday, June 10, 2007. I said hello twice and they hung up, checked the internet for this phone # and it shows Gary and Scarlet Moore from Greenwood, SC. I just received my new phone# less than a week ago because of telemarketers and the phone company knows this. Why can't our phone companies STOP this harassment? Somebody needs to do something. I did do a call trace after I hung up the phone so my phone carrier will be notified. And I will keep sending a call trace to them each time I receive a call from these jokers and hopefully my phone company will do something about it.
Happy Fourth of July. These jerks called me this morning on the holiday that in some ways give them the right to bug us? 8:01 in the morning on a holiday! I called back and the phone was out of service. Let's get a bus load together and go visit em (lol).
I have had approximately 30 phone calls from this phone number in the last 6 months or so. Sometimes 3 per day and on sundays, and sometimes late in the evening. The are calling my cell phone, so i reported it to verizon wireless and they said they would issue a credit for me if I went over in my minutes. I am so frustrated and i will not change my number because I have had this number for 8 years now. I get so angry when they call. Help!
Yeah...happened to me...twice in about 30 minute time frame. The first time, I didn't talk so he hung up. Then his accomplice/wife/Indian woman friend called and tried it again. I was prepared to give him a bunch of fake info, but then decided to play along w/her...I was acting really upbeat, but told her that I had already gotten the same deal! Then she hung up. It's hard to detect the cons from India these days since American companies are outsourcing all of our jobs over there, so it isn't unrealistic that someone from Verizon has an Indian accent. Shame on American companies and Americans for supporting companies that outsource!
Have received a few calls so far but only answered once and there was no response. I am in Minnesota. They/him/her/it called tonight at about 9:35 CST.
