Name given by caller was Law Office of Ed Overcash. Collecting for someone who does not live here. When asked, caller refused to give address for cease and desist letter. (The internet was more helpful) This refusal is in violation of federal law. Filed complaint with BBB, FTC, and South Carolina Attorney General.
they always do this,the reason being they do not have a copy of the original contract of whatever junk debt that they bought for 2 cents on the dollar so they just grasp at straws and most people get intimidated when they hear the words law office...these people are just bottomfeeders who break the laws of the ftc
this company keeps calling my home for a "Jeremy Hall".. There is not nor ever been a Jeremy Hall here. They call all hours of the day & night.. even tho we have told them that my husband "Jerry Hall" is not the one they want to talk to ..They seem mean spirited about finding this Jeremy Hall who ever he is.. just want them to stop
