This business is calling the physician's office where I am the office manager on a daily basis. The caller identifies herself as Julie. She has been told she can not speak to the doctor but insists she will not stop calling until she speaks to him. However, in the past she has spoken to him and was told to remove him from her call list. At that time, the calls temporarily stopped but have resumed. She is insistent and rude and when told we will report her to the better business bureau she says that is fine but she still needs to talk to the doctor.
The name of the company is Trademark Who's Who. I know this because Julie ripped me off as an employee. Julie, Where is your book located. You indicate that it is in the Library of Congress. I can't seem to locate it there. When your facebook page was up, you indicated you had a convention in Florida. Where is your FB page now? Who attended the convention? Can you please reply with a picture of the completed book? Not just the cover. Obviously this is a scam. All I see is a F rating with the BBB and no more Facebook page.. Obviously your lies and scam tactics are catching up to you.
You wrote in your earlier comment "assistants usually just jump to the conclusion that Im just trying to sell something (which Im not)" How do you support the company then.. I know that you are not a non-profit. You sell plaques, books (Which never get printed), certificates and press releases of some kind. So where does the funding come from??? Obviously, you are just a liar and a fraud. Good luck!! I am sure with the recent removal of the facebook page, the website will be next at www.trademarkwhoswho.com and then what, you probably stiffed a bunch of people out of money on a book that will never get delivered. Sounds like fraud to me.. Someone should alert the authorities.
Get your facts straight. Even Marquis charges for books and access to their database. Marquis has been bought and sold numerous times and has adopted the same practices as these "scam" Who's Who companies. So unfortunately Marquis does not even hold the clout it once did. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Who's_Who_scam
Read it for yourself. Now, the only way to support a company like Who's Who is to sell executive products like books and access. To test the true validity of a Who's Who company is to see if they truly give you a "no fee" inclusion. I know of a select few with A and B+ ratings with the BBB that actually give complimentary listings. At the end of the day, all Who's Who companies, unless they have significant corporate sponsorship all charge for some type of service or merchandise. Unfortunately, individuals like Julie give the industry a bad name. Although some are legitimate and do publish books and deliver on merchandise offered, be careful. That is why Who's Who companies like Cambridge, Strathmore, Biltmore, etc.. All changed their names because of illegal billing practices and negative press. Go to the BBB website and you can find the legitimate Who's Who companies with A and B ratings that do practice in a just manner.
