It makes no difference if they are dialing your number by mistake or you actually owe money, you can collect up to $1,000 by fed. law plus any actual damage under federal law (the Fair Debt. Collection Practices Act).
Do Not Call list does not apply to collection companies.
Other sites have reported this as CAPITOL RECOVERY ASSOCIATES COLLECTIONS (CRA), a debt collection company. If you have a collection company harassing you with repeated calls (especially with an automated dialer), failing to identify themselves, or at odd times of the day, etc., they are in violation of the Fair Debt. Collection Practices Act.
CRA ! I had a outstanding credit card debt 15 years ago it has long been sold to CRA. My state's limitations is 6years or 10 year written contract it has been at least "15" They will call from hundreds of numbers.
I save the many, many numbers as a contact "Ignore"
I set up my phone to send them straight to voicemail.
I set up an account with YouMail (great service!!!--and it's free!)
Now my contact named "Ignore" hears the following message...
"The number you have called is not a working number. Please check the number and try again."
You can even set it up to not let the caller leave a message!

Received a call and the operator kept calling me hun and sweetie I new something was up. They put me on hold and i hung up. I wont even answer any more.
If you believe you are being unfairly harassed by phone and you have their phone number, maybe it is time to treat those folks with their own “medicine”, call that number 10, 20, 50 times a day . . . . . for the next few weeks….
