Idon't have time for games and and this is a serious one that they seem to think that people may fall for ,usually in the event that the IRS is needing to get in touch with someone they would probally send a certified letter or may call you to set up a person to person apppointment, but I realy doubt that they would leave a phone number on your answer machine and it would be listed as a private number
Just received a message on my voice mail from either an automated system or this person talks very slow sounding like an automated system from this 1-800 number. Claiming to be from IRS and of course filing a lawsuit. Its a scam. Remember IRS never calls! My son also received the same recording a few minutes ago. Told him it was a scam. Not to worry about it. Some people just don't have anything else to do.
"Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 864-720-8383. I repeat 864-720-8383. Thank you."
I just received a call today from 864-720-8383 stating the IRS is suing me. I did not call the number, I searched the number and come up with your site. read everyone's notes and thought I should add my notes.
thanks for your site and hope you catch the caller of this number. Also they left the same number on my voice mail as well as my caller ID. caller was a female robo
