Idon't have time for games and and this is a serious one that they seem to think that people may fall for ,usually in the event that the IRS is needing to get in touch with someone they would probally send a certified letter or may call you to set up a person to person apppointment, but I realy doubt that they would leave a phone number on your answer machine and it would be listed as a private number

Invest in a call blocker. Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recongize. Police can't do much, the callers are located in India and Pakistan. Still, report them, the police can at least notify the local community and the media.
The callers are located in India and Pakistan. As such they are beyond the reach of US law and local governments do nothing. Invest in a call blocker and do NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize. There's no way to stop the call from being initiated.
