I just spent a half hour on the phone with time warner cable about these calls (which i had been getting for about a week, 4 times a day), and as i was on the phone with them, this number called me. i merged the calls. a guy named marcus said he was calling on behalf of time warner cable (not knowing he was on the line with a TRUE time warner rep) and wanted to conduct some product survey with me to see how my recent install went. I told him that i was not interested, that i was severely annoyed at the fact that they had called me for a week multiple times a day, and that he was currently speaking to not only me, but also a rep from time warner's customer service department, who had told me that they had no record of a twc office in south carolina with that phone number. well, marcus all of a sudden got really apologetic and defensive, mentioned that it had not personally been him that called me that many times, that he was calling from milwaukee WI, not south carolina, told me that he would take me off their call list, told me to have a good day, and hung up. the time warner rep and i had a little laugh about it, then he promised to file a complaint and a report for the number with the solutions department. clearly, this number is not actually time warner cable. my guess is that someone hacked their system and is stealing data. just be careful and if this number calls you and you're lucky enough to get a live person, make a big fuss about how annoyed you are and tell them to never call you again, else you may file a lawsuit against them. :)
It's Time Warner sales dept for sure. I just ordered service yesterday and wondered who was calling me. They don't leave messages. Rude. They call out and you cannot call in.
I've received quite a few calls from this number on my cell phone..... answered once and they asked to speak to head of household, I replied '"May I ask who's calling?" she said no and hung up....when i try calling back it says "cannot be completed as dialed"
