New one. Didn't recognize name or number. They didn't leave a message and I didn't pick up. I asked for tougher penalties on phone fraud for Christmas, in the meantime a new call blocker. I have 312 numbers blocked and this is pure harassment.
Windows Tech department. I started mimicking his broken English. He got mad and started getting abusive. I blew my police whistle into the phone. He hung up.
This person obviously a phony telemarketer from "Windows" called saying "f you" along with other obsceneties. How are there not stricter laws on these scammers yet??
Just got a call from this number today and I answered and let him explain to me that all my Windows PC's are throwing error messages and that I to do something about it. I told him I have all the virus and security software I need on my computers to which he then replied that no virus software would pick this stuff up. I then confirmed that he was with Windows PC support and changed my speech that I have all Mac's and don't use Windows. He then said that it was something wrong with my email account and not specific to Windows. He could obviously help me if I gave him my email address. I asked why he didn't already know it if he could tell I had errors showing up on his system. Asked what system he was using and he didn't have an answer. I then told him I was a Director of IT and knew how to diagnose and troubleshoot any email or operating system issues I may be having and didn't need his assistance. He then got defensive and started asking me what I would do to fix the issues he was seeing I was having. I told him the first thing I would do would be to stop answering calls from this number and block it from ever being able to ring through again, then I would cook up some yummy Chicken Tikka Masala with fresh chapati and watch a show on Netflix. I then hung up on the bloke.
Calling the number back and the phone just rang and rang with no one picking up or it ever going to answering service. How can we make this guy and his friends life a "living hell"? Any ideas? Anyone have access to a robodialer or some other phone blocking system to stuff them? Let's come up with something on this forum to stop people from wasting our times. I do have his number blocked now so won't ever get him again but I would like to retaliate somehow...
