...had a heavy accent claiming that there is a problem with the Windows operating system. He said, "Every time your go on Internet spyware, viruses, malware download all information from your computer. You been selected for phone call to fix your computer." I had to stop myself from laughing at this moron so I ask him, "How can you fix my computer from the phone?" He said, "You must go to our website so we fix your computer and remove virus." I guess he got nervous when I kept probing his conversation because he hung up before I got the web address.
Please don't allow this amateur to play this silly game on you.
I receive several calls from 864-882-2795 twice a day at set times. The unusual thing about this call is when you call the number......the operator announces this number is no longer in service......please check the number you are calling. Now my questions is what kind of technique is this??????? People can call and disconnect as if the call never existed??? It's like the call is programmed to call at 2:15pm CST.
Lmao! Instead of an indian accent I got a thick jersey accent. My hispanic mother answered and was about to hungup so I took the phone,he told me my windows have been infected. i said oh but we have no computer, tell me more he said well your laptop i called back and the number was disconnected. Hmmm!!! If anyone gets a hold of them by calling the number back lemme know
Same as everyone else - calling several times a day and night and no one says anything on the other end if you answer. Calling them back you get a recorded message the number has been disconnected. What is going on with this!?!?!?!
I am receiving these calls several times a day and we are on do not call list(which seems not to work)
when you call this number back it is not in service. How is this possible.
they need to be reported to the FCC and FBI
they are not permitted to take over our privacy.!!!!!
Please prosecute these people!!!!
"when you call this number back it is not in service" means the number is spoofed https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caller_ID_spoofing and your caller should be treated as hostile.
