Guy must not be having much luck if he's leaving nasty messages. Few things are more infuriating to scammers than when they realize their spiel doesn't work. I'd compare it to putting a gun to their head and pulling the trigger since they proved they're fakes, resorting to foul language. Chances are good anytime you get a number with a load of zeroes in it, it's your friendly bogus tech support caller.
They persisted in calling our house too, and I knew from this site that it was a scam. After three times of putting the phone down (with line still open) next to a loud radio, they have stopped calling........for now.
I find it really interesting that nobody mentioned the the call was coming from"
8 7 "2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9" and pointing out that fact!
Since it is obviously a "spoofed" #, how come that it is known to come from Chicago"
I think that the phone company "KNOWS" the landline or cell phone that it came from!
I think that there is some way that these criminals can be tracked down effectively.
I just don't know how!
Let's start a conversation to try and do something about it rather than be just another "ME TOO!"
