I got a call from his number on yesterday from a officer kevin smith with a thick indian accent first of all aint no non american name kevin smith second he threatened me with legal actions saying i took out a loan online when i never recieved one he told me i had to pay $6,000 in cash but i could pay $2,000 for lawyer fees he even knows my social security number it scares me that he knows all my info and banking info how can we take these scammers down for good.
I got told this fricking fake to not ever call me again, He keeps calling and leaving threatening message. 1st of all the guy is from india, asnd says his name is kevin smith.. yea right! and Mother Teresa! don't let him scam you into giving him your ss#. I told him i called the police and they are tracing the call, he hung up immediatelt.. as_ Hole!!!

A supposed "officer" called me from this number saying he was calling from the Federal Crime Department and that my name and social security number came up in their computer! Don't know how he got my social , but this bothers me also. I will follow-up and report this.....
I too got a call and he stated my address which is exactly right. That makes me nervous they know where I live. BUT a deputy sheriff lives next door. This is indeed a scam. Search FBI on the internet and go into their scam site....this "style" of scam is listed!
