My wife received a call today. Strong accent. claiming my wife open an account and owed. She called me upset,and I called the number back. They gave me the run around. So I called The Sheriff's Office,The Count Attorney and the FBI. Was told it was a scam. I and my Wife had Identity Montioring and nothing is on our credit report. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
got a call from this number - someone saying they were officer John Brown and even mentioned a family member's name and said my soc. sec. number was compromised. When I call the number back it is busy. Found out from googling this phone number that it is a scam.

I received a call from 916-288-9343 - saying they were a lawyers office and I had criminal charges against me through my ss# and had to contact atty kevin johnson. It was also a guy with an india accent. And the number he gave me to call the atty was the number he just called me from!
