Yeah, just got this call on my mobile phone, too. I pressed "1" Got immediately connected and heard a kid crying and then a man's voice came on telling me he was from "Account Services." I asked "Account Services of what company?" He began to blather on about representing 500 (!) companies who are looking to save me money on interest rates. There was no stopping him. I cut in and told him I had no credit cards and he immediately hung up.
I get these calls all the time on my home phone & cell phone. As soon as I hear the recording I hang up. Probably happens about 2x/week. I've never listened to more than the first couple of words. I figured if it was something with my credit card and it was important that they'd have a live person call. Very annoying. Maybe next time I'll listen and try to contact them to see what's up. Maybe then I can get enough info to report them.
Got a call on my cell from 901-212-1268 on my (hurried) way to the crapper at 12:32pm. I didn't recognize the # so I didn't answer. Went on the net to find / trace the number and Google found this site. Thanks.
Got this call about lowering credit card interest I don'thave a credit card I pushed one to talk to an agent when I told him I didn't have one he hung up! Can't call back and no voicemail!
