Got this call today, too -- 2:09 PM. I have no idea how they would have gotten my number, since it's on the Do Not Call registry. The caller is apparently trying to convince people to "lower your credit card interest rates with stimulus money to as low as 4.9%." Anyone who thinks stimulus money is still floating around is just silly. Anyway, Definitely do NOT give them your credit card number! Remember: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Spread the word!
Just got a call from this number. Didn't pick up. Silence was the message left. Guess they are making the rounds today, judging from how many of us have received calls.
They offered lower interest rates, so I pressed "1". Agent started fishing for information about one of my credit card in order to "qualify" me. I asked for name of company she was calling from and how I could find them on the web. The call disconnected.
