They called me too and I work for the courthouse, it's a total scam, I have been getting calls like this since 2008. This year my identity was even stolen, do not give these scammed any personal information and do not verify anything. I used to report them but they are very hard to catch with all the spoofed numbers they use. Best just to block them and ignore the calls. If you call them back, your number will most likely be passed on to other scammed and the calls will continue.
Received a Robocall this morning (don't know what number it came from as I don't have caller ID). It was for a friend of mine who is currently out of the country and has used my phone number for a local contact point (with my permission). The woman on the recording identified herself as Leah Hunter and said there was a civil complaint filed against him (she provided a complaint number but no jurisdiction). She said a summons was going to be served to him at either his home or office. She instructed me to press 1 for more information (and I think there was some reference to the possibility of a settlement before the complaint went to court) or I could call (901) 866-5974 for more information. Didn't take either option. No idea if there will be further contact.
TOTAL SCAM - ILLEGAL CON ARTISTS TRYING TO STEAL YOUR IDENTITY AND MONEY. My elderly MOTHER got a call from Ria at Sienberg regarding a "Fax Order" of civil complaint being served against me for Loan Fraud and Breach of Contract. Further they will serve me at my place of employment and my local court. It is imperative that I call her at 902-866-5974 with case 015-XXXXXX. She ended by saying "you have been officially notified". Such BS. My information was hacked when applying for a loan online. My information was sold over and over and I have received calls from these scammers for 9 years. They call me at work, leave voice mails at work, threaten to show up at my office, call my HR Manager, and my elderly mother. Some harassed her so bad, she paid them. Horrific. FBI says there is nothing they can do. These people use a spoof card and can change their phone numbers and caller id to say anything such as "Sheriff's office", "District Attorney", etc. They are untraceable. Do Not Talk To Them. Do not give them your identity information, bank information, work address or home address because they steal and/or show up and cause physical harm!
Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
