They just called me at work. Couldn't catch his name. Told him I knew nothing about charges so he transfered me to the office handling the case. (funny think it sounded like it was him trying to change his voice). The guy read the charges about some type of loan and when I asked who the company was, he read, real fast, a list of companies. Then when I asked for the date, he kept avoiding the question. Kept just repeating "give me a date" and he finally answered it was a long time ago. I hung on him. Told my boss about it and he called his friend at police station. I have to call the attorney general's office tomorrow and file a comlaint with them. Then going to call the local TV stationg and see if I can get something on the TV about this. Totally a scam!!!
Got a call from this number saying me or my lawyer need to contact him or he feels sorry for me!! I have no idea whom it is! He said his name was Chad Cooper!
I just got a call from these guys...some indian-sounding guy named Justin Waters (its as close as I could make out) said that he needed to hear from me or my attorney within 2 days about a time sensitive matter and if he didn't, he would "feel sorry for me as the case against me unfolded." The number didn't come up as any state on my cell because it appeared as +9039656203 instead. This guy sounds like a low-life scammer to me!
He called me at work, I wasn't there so a co-worker called me about it. Said his name was Jeff Harrison. Same b.s. about owing money. I tried to call them back and they said it was the Bilton and Bennett Legal Associates office. I asked for a reference number, legal claim number, any info about this alleged offence and I got cursed at. How the Hell can people call you at home and at work asking for money and threatening you with bogus lawsuits and jailtime?!?Needless to say, its a scam. Think I'll call again and tell them that I'm dead, maybe then they'll leave me alone.
I got a call at work from a man named Robert smith he also said it was time sensitive that I call him back. as I proceeded to talk to him he said I had criminal charges against me. I asked for what he then transferred me to a lady named Jennifer who had a very thick indian accent worse than the guy that called me.I told the lady that it was illegal to be calling me at work she then proceeded to cus me out and told me that they wish me luck for the situation that will unfold because of not complying with them. IN A nice and respectful manner I told them to kiss my big Hawaiian a$$. This is a total scam. Please don't give into it.
