They just called me at work. Couldn't catch his name. Told him I knew nothing about charges so he transfered me to the office handling the case. (funny think it sounded like it was him trying to change his voice). The guy read the charges about some type of loan and when I asked who the company was, he read, real fast, a list of companies. Then when I asked for the date, he kept avoiding the question. Kept just repeating "give me a date" and he finally answered it was a long time ago. I hung on him. Told my boss about it and he called his friend at police station. I have to call the attorney general's office tomorrow and file a comlaint with them. Then going to call the local TV stationg and see if I can get something on the TV about this. Totally a scam!!!
These guys are total scam artists....and they're bad liars on top of it. They can't seem to keep their story straight...initially said they were with the Madden Law Firm in Wayville, Wisconsin & then with Wilson & Bennett associates in Tyler, Texas. They always call and say that Tom Cooper or Jeffrey Harrison needs to speak with me regarding an urgent matter. They keep calling my job so my co-workers and boss now respond that I no longer work there. I've turned all of the emails and phone calls over to the Attorney Generals office and I know atleast one of the law firms (Madden Law Firm) is following up with the local authorities in Wisconsin. I've also recorded all of their calls and I'm seriously contemplating going to my local news station to see if they'll do a story about it. They have messed with the WRONG GAL!
I have been receiving these same calls for almost a week now. What everyone needs to do is call their local police authorities, as I did today. When they called back I let them know that the local police now have their name and number. One of my interactions with the Indian sounding who would not give me his full name, told me to " GO [***] MYSELF". How's that for an attorney's personnel's language. Just to let you know, the officer advised me to call my local phone company, and have them block the number from calling my home and cell.
This number just called my work. The same thing, gave me a name Anthony Miller and from a law firm and same message. They seem to be working with another phone #/ An indian man. Threatening to arrest me if I don't pay up now. They wished me good luck.

I too was threatened, that I was going to be arrested. I had my husband answering the phone after my threatening call. He kept messing with their heads and he got them to tell him their names. One was Mike and the other was Joseph, so he kept calling them by name, because they were so stupid to keep calling back. We did end up changing our phone number and have been at peace, since. Good luck with your local tv station, this most definitely needs to be addressed and brought out into the light for everyone to be aware of.
