Called numerous times on previous days. Called this a.m. @ 8 a.m. & tried to reject number only to find out its a landline and for an extra charge my cell phone carrover would block the call for me. He called back a little later and I got the same spiel as everyone else. Finally got him to stop.talking long enough to tell him NOT to call me again. He said "Ok" and HE hung up on me!! Will 'watch' and see if he calls again..
Been getting calls for over a week claiming to be Microsoft tech support. They've called 4 times already today and it's only 11:30. The first came at 6:30 am. On the third call I yelled at the guy and told him I know it's a scam because Microsoft doesn't make calls like this. I said I know he's not Microsoft and he said "You're right, we're a partner company". I told him I knew he was full of it and he yelled at me "Are you a technician??" I told him that I work in the tech industry and I know this is a bad scam. He then threatened to "shut down and block" my computer within 7 hours, at which point I hung up and filed a report with the FTC.
Will not stop calling me. Yells at me on the phone. Calls night, day. Same man with foreign accent. Says something is wrong with my computer . My phone # is (516) 541-4788
