Called numerous times on previous days. Called this a.m. @ 8 a.m. & tried to reject number only to find out its a landline and for an extra charge my cell phone carrover would block the call for me. He called back a little later and I got the same spiel as everyone else. Finally got him to stop.talking long enough to tell him NOT to call me again. He said "Ok" and HE hung up on me!! Will 'watch' and see if he calls again..
today got a call at 5AM!! I asked the guy if he knew what time it was and he said 5AM!!! I asked him if he thought it was appropriate and he said yes!! Incredible.
This is a scam, posing as Microsoft Windows Tech Support. They will ask you to log onto a website (theirs) where they will infiltrate and take personal data. Don't do it. They are also not from Florida even if their number is. The number is hijacked.
Just called me. They said they were from Windows Support and my computer was sending spam to their server and they needed to access my computer to stop it. I replied FINALLY you noticed and they asked what I meant. I replied I have been sending spam on purpose to their servers since Windows 8.0 was released because it was so bad. I added if they wanted me to stop, they were going to have to pay me to make it stop. He said I cannot do that. I said watch me....if you want it to stop I want $100K in small bills and non consecutive serial numbers delivered to a secure location before I will do anything. I believe he started swearing at me in Hindi and hung up on me. That was the most fun I had all week!
