i filed bankruptcy and told the guy that which he told that his name was nick fleming with a middle eastern accent and i have also had them to tell me that it was money laundering how do you money launder for $200 please.....i think this is a scam too. i also told him to stop calling me at work and so far they have we will see. the guy was hateful and rude talking to him on the phone.
I've been recieving calls from these people too. The problem is...I actually DO owe money to a few payday loan companies...which is what they claim to be calling about. BUT, everything seems so fishy. They told me the company wanted to see me behind bars! (for a few hundred dollars? COME ON!)Plus their names are weird made up names that DONT match their accents (Jason William and Travis Griffin??) The number that came up on the caller ID was completely different, area code and all.... My instincts say SCAM. But, they have my social security number, my old checking account info, and tons of other stuff, and like I said....I do owe money to payday loans. Do I pay them?
Payday2go don't have connection with them. I am from payday2go (online loan company) I am receiving lots of call complaining about this fraud collectors and callers experienced harassment and asking them some payments. I even check our database but the callers don't have existing account with us, they are just using our company name to collect money. please visit our website at www.payday2go.com

i had this same phone call just today about the same way yours happened. a guy with a middle eastern accent saying he was with some bank out of florida and i was a suspect in check fraud from a bank account that i had 8 years ago along with an email address from about that long ago. i told him to stop calling me at work and stop harrassing me and i hung up on him and he called back and i told him again that i was at work and to stop calling and he did today but like you we will see if he calls tomorrow to harrass me. i am going to do like you and file a report about scamming to the attorney general. thanks for the info that helps me out alot. people will do anything to someone to get money out of them.

i had the same call as of monday from the same place and he told that his name was nick fleming. i am glad to know that someone googled this info cause i was going to but i havent but i contacted my attorney generals office in kentucky about the call that i got monday. That is very strange that someone else got the same call. these people are rude. he also had my ss#, email address that i havent had in 8 years. he also told me that there would legal consequences for me to and i told him that i filed bankruptcy and he said he didnt care what i had done and that i was a suspect in a legal matter and i needed to take care of it. i told him to stop calling me at work and i hung up on him, he called back and told him again that i was at work and stop calling me or i would press charges against him for harrassment and as of today no calls we will see.
