Got the same call. Told them I was an attorney, to send the papers to me. They hung up on me. Got the same call again later in the afternoon and again they hung up on me. So I called them back and they hung up again. Repeated the process once more and told them if they called me again, they'd have a real lawsuit to deal with.
I received a call from this number, the caller sounded as if he was a Filipino with very poor English saying I am being sued for check fraud and some other stuff. I don't write checks or do illegal stuff so I knew it was a scam.
Same as everyone else. Interesting additions to their threats...since I do not take them seriously my employer will be notified, my drivers license will revoked, my social security number would becblocked, I would be arrested for "civil violations of the law, etc. Refuse to tell me what the debt is about...seems like they took all my info off my Facebook page.
